| Office Max, that frisky fellow adorning our cover, is owned by Dave and Pam Woolbright of Wautoma, Wis. Though built more like a halter horse (and so are his babies), this 8 year-old APHA stallion is formally trained for reining. Currently, however, the Woolbright's 17-year-old daughter is retraining him for Western Pleasure since she's now old enough to show a stallion at most horse shows. "'Max' has a true gentle attitude," Pam Woolbright said. "In fact, he's more like a puppy dog, and anyone can ride him." Office Max, who is Homozygous to the black gene, has a waiting list for his offspring. "The babies are very hard to keep on the farm," Pam said."But we're expecting four this spring." Meet Office Max at the Midwest Horse Fair April 21 though the 23rd in the stallion barn; you will be impressed.
